Our sacrament meeting start time will change this Sunday (7/2) to 10:20am. A new Spanish language branch has been created in the Anoka Minnesota Stake, and will be meeting in the Brooklyn Park chapel. We are excited to welcome the Brooklyn Park (Spanish) Branch. The three wards meeting in the building are adjusting meeting start times to make building space available for the new branch.
The Brooklyn Park Branch (Spanish) was created by dividing the Twin Cities 1st Ward (Spanish) that previously covered all of the Anoka and Minneapolis Stakes. This branch will serve Spanish-speaking members living within the boundaries of the Anoka Minnesota Stake, north of the Crystal Ward. President Rosalino Matus has been called as the Brooklyn Park Branch President, and Brother Julio Pineda as his first councilor.
Our stake presidency and the Minneapolis stake presidency have been counseling, fasting, and praying about this change for the last few years. We welcome approximately 150 members of the Brooklyn Park Branch to the Anoka Minnesota Stake and hope you will also get to know these wonderful members and help them to feel welcome.
