Temple & Family History Highlights

Fellow members of the St Paul Stake,

I hope you enjoyed Conference two weeks ago. I'd like to share with you a few highlights from talks given that dealt with Temple and Family History work:

"While worshipping in the temple is presently not possible, I invite you to increase your participation in family history, including family history research and indexing. I promise that as you increase your time in temple and family history work, you will increase and improve your ability to hear Him." Pres. Russel M. Nelson

"The spirit of Elijah is changing the hearts of young and old, children and parents, grandchildren and grandparents. Temples will soon again be happily scheduling baptismal opportunities and other sacred ordinances. The desire to serve our ancestors and the bonding of parents and children are growing." - Pres. Henry B. Eyring

The fundamental obligations that rest upon us as members of the Lord's restored Church are (1) to "Hear Him!" and have our own hearts changed through covenants and ordinances and (2) to fulfill joyfully the divinely appointed responsibility to offer temple blessings to the entire human family on both sides of the veil. With the Lord's direction and help, indeed we will fulfill these sacred duties." David A Bednar

I and other Temple and Family History Consultants in our Stakes and Wards stand ready to help you as you follow the Prophet's invitation to increase your participation in family history work. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us whenever you need help or have a question.

Best,

David C Moberly
