Stake Golf Activity - July 27

Anoka Minnesota Stake

Brothers and Sisters,

Church activities are a wonderful way to bring members together as "fellow citizens with the saints" (Eph 2:19).  While most activities occur at the ward level, periodic stake activities can provide opportunities to connect and socialize.  We strive to create a variety of activity types to meet the needs of members.

The stake has organized an opportunity to gather for a golf activity.  Here are the details:
Date: July 27, 2004
Location: Brookland Golf Park in Brooklyn Park
Format: Scramble or stroke play as desired
Cost: All costs will be by the member.  We expect green fees to be a maximum of $14/person
Who: The activity is open to all members, adults, and youth.  However, only those playing should participate.  For safety reasons, no observers or non-playing members are allowed on the course.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Greg Wharton at grwharton@gmail.com so we can register.

As a reminder, general handbook 2.3 reminds us that "individual and families consider their own circumstances when making decisions about participating in Church programs that are not essential."
