TCYSA Ward Activities: 3 Ways to Connect (Plus Cookies!)

Hi, everyone!

With Minnesota still under a "Stay Safe" program for the time being, it'll be a little while before we're able to meet again in person. In the meantime, we're excited to share 3 ways to get connected with other members over the coming week.

1) Virtual Baking Activity: Friday @ 7:00pm

Join our resident FHE lead Ana in baking chocolate chip cookies at 7pm over Zoom! If you've been waiting for a chance to channel your inner "Great British Baking Show" then wait no longer!

Here is the recipe so you can be sure to have the ingredients!

• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup(2 sticks) butter, softened for 1-2 hours on the counter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 1/3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

• Preheat the oven to 375°F

2) Online Institute--Yes, it's still going!

Unlike previous semesters when Institute has taken a hiatus during the month of May, Brothers Clayton and Lammers have started up a new round of classes for this summer! Several options are available daily; check out https://minneapolisinstitute.com/ for more details.

Classes include:

• Book of Mormon ("Come, Follow Me")
• The Writings of John the Beloved
• Finding Joy in Family Life
• Christ and His Teachings

3) Family History Live Events

As shared in an email on Sunday, the Church has organized weekly Facebook-Live family history events every Wednesday at 5pm! See the link below for full details:
