Amber Apartment Project Donations

As many of you know, the stake is working on a project to donate welcome baskets for low income housing. The Amber Apartments are 80 units of housing for those with low incomes.  Twenty-two of those apartments are studio apartments that have been dedicated to 22 individuals who have lived with homelessness here in MN.  We are grateful to work with the RS Eden group who are running the project and interviewing applicants. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is donating $25,000 to help furnish these 22 apartments.  RS Eden has funding for only the basic needs in the units.  We have been asked to help make these spaces into homes with a "welcome basket" for each.  These baskets will include everything from shower curtains and throw pillows to winter clothing and tablets for them to use for virtual appointments.  Each ward in our stake will be helping to fill these welcome baskets for one or two units, and the Minneapolis stake will be joining in.
Below is a digital sign up for items that are needed for the welcome baskets that we are in charge of as a ward. All items are due November 29th to Brian and Joycelyn Croft.  Please call to arrange a drop off time: 952-607-8582
