Hi Pinetoppers,
We are excited to announce the addition of Jacob Wright to Pinetop Sports Club. Jacob grew up in Asheville, NC and attended TC Roberson High School where he won the class 3A state title. He was ranked top 5 in the state and top 20 in the ITA’s Southern Section. He went on to play Division 1 college tennis at UNCG for 3 years. He, and his doubles partner won the deciding match in the finals of the SOCON tournament and competed in the NCAA tournament. Jacob has degrees in classical singing from UNCG, the University of Michigan, and the AJ Fletcher Opera Institute and has sung in opera theatres throughout the country.
Jacob has worked at Pinetop in the past teaching our summer camps. He is still actively playing tennis as a 5.0 here in Greensboro. We are glad to have him back as a part of the Pinetop Tennis team. Jacob will be available for private lessons, semi-private lessons and clinics. Please contact Jacob for scheduling and questions.
