St. Paul Minnesota Stake Conference and Meeting Cancellation; Ministering

Brothers and Sisters of the Twin Cities YSA Ward,

I hope this email finds you all Healthy and Safe. You should have all received an email from the Stake Presidency announcing that the St Paul Minnesota Stake Conference, scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday, has been Cancelled.  Per instructions communicated yesterday by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, all meetings and group activities are cancelled.  The email also includes additional information that is helpful during the coming days/weeks.  Please let me know if you Did NOT Receive the email so we can make arrangements to get it to you.

We live in a time when the world is in turmoil and the COVID-19 virus pandemic is only making it worse.  Rest assured that the Savior knows the challenges this causes for each of us.  Recent changes in church programs provide us with the ability to fill extra "free-time" with righteous and positive gospel activities.  The Come, Follow Me curriculum provides a guide to studying the gospel (Book of Mormon 2020, New Testament 2019).  There are blessings and greater knowledge available through studying both in the current year's and even repeating last year's Come, Follow Me.  Also, the church website provides access to Conference Talks for several decades which are a treasured collection of modern-day scripture.  Many of those talks are speaking to us as we make our way through the challenges we face in today's world and society.

I ask Ministering Brothers and Sisters to check on those whom you visit/watch over to ensure they are well, both physically and spiritually.  Please report back to your Ministering leadership, especially where there are needs.  We can schedule Ministering update meetings with Bishopric, Elders Quorum Presidency and Relief Society Presidency as often as needed during this challenging time.   I can also be contacted directly by anyone to report or request immediate needs.

Please keep close to the Lord during this challenging time.  He is the ultimate source of peace and calm in the midst of worldly tempests.

The Lord loves you, collectively and individually.  It is my prayer that you will each stay close or become closer to the Lord during these tumultuous times!!
