Feed the 5000 Food Drive

Anoka Minnesota Stake

                                                                                    Feb 1, 2026

Anoka Minnesota Stake,

As we remember the Savior this Easter season, we are reminded in Matthew 14 and Mark 6, of the story of Jesus feeding five thousand with only five loaves and two fish. The compassion of Jesus Christ was on full display as He taught the people, and He was aware "the day was far spent" and that being in "a desert place" the people did not have access to food.

In our communities today there are many who find themselves in a "desert" place in their lives.  Many who need food, clothing, and shelter.  As a Stake, we encourage you to show compassion to those in need this Easter by joining us in the "Feed the 5000" food drive.

In partnership with the Food Group of MN, the Anoka, MN Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is sponsoring a food drive on March 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Anoka Stake Center.  Invite your friends and neighbors to join us, all are welcome to participate in this food drive to help those in need.
