View this email in your browser Prior to the premiere of Disney Studios' and Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Lagos Continental hosted the campaign press conference within Africa on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Lagos, Nigeria. This was done by the film production team as part of the premiere's promotional tour, in anticipation of the movie's official release in Africa which was on November 11, 2022.  The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever team arrived at the Hotel on Saturday, November 5. On Sunday, they had their first photoshoot after breakfast. Later in the day, the African Press Conference was held, including the junket session, cocktail evening, a second photoshoot session, and an after-party at the Hotel. At the press conference on Sunday, The Lagos Continental hosted the movie's director—Ryan Coogler, the producer—Nate Moore, some of the cast in the movie, including Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, and Winston Duke, as well as the soundtrack producers and artists. The superstars lodged at The Lagos Continental all through their campaign tour ahead of the premiere in Nigeria, with all official photos for the press conference and media promo materials created at the Hotel's elegant premises. The General Manager of Lagos Continental —Karl Hala, expressed his firm delight in the decision for the Hotel to be a part of the Africa premiere for the much-anticipated movie in Nigeria, noting that Nigeria has been a leading force in Africa's entertainment industry. Since the first release of Black Panther in 2018, it was ecstatic seeing a large pool of filmmakers, actors, talents, media personnel, and the press convenes for this year's sequel premiere, considering it historic to witness Marvel Studios hold a premiere locally in Nigeria. The Lagos Continental prides itself in having hosted the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever team, as well as the premiere's African Press Conference. Undoubtedly, Lagos Continental is the home of the Black Panther!   Furthermore, over the past week, Lagos Continental hosted WWE Superstar Wrestler Tolulope Omogbehin, popularly known as Omos, who had just returned from the WWE Crown Jewel to an exciting exploration of the Lagos Continental.
