Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We are grateful and excited that the St. Paul Minnesota temple will be reopening tomorrow after a lengthy closure for maintenance. As the temple reopens, we remind you of the counsel given by President Russell M. Nelson in the April 2022 general conference :
"Positive spiritual momentum increases as we worship in the temple and grow in our understanding of the magnificent breadth and depth of the blessings we receive there. I plead with you to counter worldly ways by focusing on the eternal blessings of the temple. Your time there brings blessings for eternity."
We hope that you will make attending the temple a priority in your life. We invite you to make an appointment to attend the temple sometime in the near future. If you do not have a recommend to enter the temple, we invite you to meet with your bishop to begin preparations to attend. If you need help scheduling an appointment, please reach out to your ministering brother or sister, or to a member of your Elders Quorum or Relief Society presidency.
As part of the shutdown, extensive landscaping work is being completed. The landscaping project is ongoing and will be for several more weeks. Construction workers are using the north parking lot for their materials and equipment. The handicap parking spaces in the north parking lot will be available for your use if needed. However, you should otherwise use the west or south parking lots so that vehicles will not be in the way of the workers and to avoid any accidental vehicle damage.
We are very blessed to have a temple so close and we know that the Lord Jesus Christ will bless you as you seek to worship Him in His holy house.
With Love,
Anoka Minnesota Stake Presidency
