Highway 610 cleanup on June 11th.

Good afternoon!
Our semi-annual clean up of a section of Highway 610 with the Elm Creek Ward is scheduled for Saturday, June 11, beginning at 9 am.
Here are some things to remember:

1. Only individuals 18 years or older may participate.
2. The leftover bags, the vests that people are required to wear and grabbers are stored in the Elm Creek relief society closet.
3. The safety video that is required to be shown before every highway cleanup event is found on YouTube at the following link: https://youtu.be/aFxiDZ6O0hA.
4. Remind participants to wear gloves, pants and good shoes preferably not open toed shoes. They should also bring water (the vests have a pocket for a small water bottle).
5. Some recommended parking for the Highway 610 section would be Hy-Vee parking lot, Discount Tires parking lot, and/or Hampton Inn parking lot on Broadway Avenue.
