Dear Brothers and Sisters including Young Men and Young Women,
We are so excited for the Phase 2B opening of our St. Paul Minnesota Temple starting next Monday June 21st. We are grateful for the combined faith, fasting and preparation from members in our stake and throughout Minnesota in helping our temple to open.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) appointment reservations will begin for baptistry appointments at the St. Paul Minnesota Temple. We hope you will take advantage of this special opportunity. The temple will have names available, though you can use FamilySearch functionality (app or online) to find and print your own names if you wish - a ward family history consultant is standing by to help.
Below is a letter from the St. Paul Minnesota Temple Presidency containing information about the Phase 2B opening that you may find helpful.

Dear Members of the St. Paul Minnesota Temple District:
We are grateful for the recent announcement that the St. Paul Minnesota Temple will enter Phase 2B on June 21st. In Phase 2B we will be able to perform proxy baptisms in addition to all living ordinances.
In discussing Phase 2B, Elder Bednar said "We encourage small groups — including new members, families, Aaronic Priesthood quorums, Young Women classes, and young adult groups — to schedule a time to be in the temple. We are thrilled at the ability to provide these sacred ordinances to our deceased ancestors again, and for members of the Church to again worship in the house of the Lord."
In connection with this wonderful news, we mention the following:
1- Service in the baptistry is by appointment only. Appointments may be made at the St. Paul Minnesota Temple website, found at the Church's website beginning Tuesday June 15th.
2- Appointments will be for one hour and may be scheduled for up to 10 patrons. In addition, a group may be accompanied by two sisters and two endowed men, to assist in the ordinances, but this is not required. Due to current restrictions from the Temple Department, we are not able to exceed these numbers and may only have 10 patrons in each session.
3- We are grateful to expand our opportunities in the temple. Unfortunately, this brief period will be followed by an eight-week construction project. The church is modifying over 100 progressive-style temples and our temple has been scheduled for remodeling and will be closed August 2nd – September 25th.
We have greatly missed you and look forward to serving again with you in the temple. Thank you for your service and support.
With much love,
The St. Paul Minnesota Temple Presidency
