Wearing Masks during Church meetings and activities per MN State Mandate

Brothers and Sisters of the Twin Cities YSA Ward,

We have received updated signage from the Stake Presidency and a reminder regarding the wearing of Masks.  Their communication included this instruction/reminder: 

"Attached is an updated notice to be posted at all Church building entrances that states that masks are now required at Church gatherings"

Please note that the mandate includes

1)    Mandate Requirements

a.     "A Face Covering must cover the mouth and nose completely"

2)    Types of Acceptable Face Coverings

3)    People Exempted from the Face Covering Requirements

a.     You may not know someone's situation which exempts them from wearing a mask

4)    When Required to Wear a Face Covering

5)    When NOT Required to Wear a Face Covering

a.     Removing while presenting (speaking) when social distancing is maintained

b.     This applies to when speaking from the pulpit in Sacrament Meeting – rostrum seating ensures social distancing

c.     This is an option as demonstrated by recent Stake Presidency speakers

6)    When Strongly Recommended but Not Required to Wear Face Masks

If you have concerns about specific situations or circumstances regarding Wearing Masks at Ward Meetings or Activities, Do Not confront the person(s) or disrupt the Meeting; please contact me or one of my Counselors after the meeting.

If you are concerned about you attending Sacrament Meetings or Ward Activities due to any circumstance in your life and would like to receive Home Sacrament (on a regular or occasional basis), please contact me directly via Phone/Text (612-840-3437) or email (gwstoddard.mn@gmail.com) so we can discuss providing Home Sacrament considering your circumstances.  During this time of COVID-19 your attendance at Sacrament Meeting is Not Required to receive the Sacrament.
