Brothers & Sisters of the Shingle Creek Ward,
We're looking forward to being with you on Sunday, February 12, 2023 for ward conference. In addition to holding a special sacrament meeting, we'll be together in the 2nd hour to meet and council on an important topic.
In preparation for this 2nd hour meeting we ask you to consider these words from President Russell M. Nelson regarding the temple from the Oct 2022 general conference.
"May you focus on the temple in ways you never have before."
"I promise that increased time in the temple will bless your life in ways nothing else can."
Before ward conference we invite you to go to the temple and perform ordinances, increase your efforts in temple & family history work, search out what the Savior and his prophets have said about the temple or any other activity that amplifies your focus on the temple. Then, come to ward conference ready to share your insights and experiences.
We know that by heeding the words of President Nelson we can each receive the blessings needed to draw closer to the Savior.
