Lagos Continental Hosts Africa Creative Market 2022

Over the years, Africa's creative sector has been vibrantly driven by the youths with a growing global influence, from film to music, dance, art, photography & fashion. It's no doubt that the creative industry has a thriving potential to become the hub for exporting African culture and we are exceptionally interested in being a major contributor to the advancement of its influence more importantly in our immediate society.
 
LCH is proud to have partnered in the launch of the inaugural commercial hub event in the creative industry - Africa Creative Market (ACM) held from Monday, August 29 through to Saturday, September 3, 2022.
 
The event started off at Milano Restaurant with an exclusive breakfast meeting which had the
 Honorary Consul of Namibia to Nigeria, Mr. Justin Chuma Anosike, staff of the Namibian embassy in Nigeria and other dignitaries and industry leaders in attendance, and an opening ceremony at Grand African Ballroom in The Lagos Continental Hotel.
In a keynote speech by Mr. Kala Hala, the General Manager, of Lagos Continental Hotel at the opening ceremony, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation & satisfaction in being actively involved in the driving force of global change in Africa's creative sector through The Lagos Continental Hotel partnership.

He said, "creativity, just like civilization, always becomes richer and more colorful through exchanges and mutual learning from one another. Such exchanges and mutual learning form an important drive for talent grooming and development, leading to increased growth in the creative industry. I am optimistic that the 2022 edition of the Africa Creative Market will be a platform of global opportunities for Africa's creatives".
Day two also opened with an exclusive breakfast with the Grand Patron of the Africa Creative Market, His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, OJAJA II, Ooni of Ife with the foreign contingent at Soho Restaurant in The Lagos Continental Hotel where the Ooni of Ife expressed his absolute support in the development of the creative industry through several internationally agreed joint venture programs under the Africa Creative Network.
 
Not to leave out the beautifully curated Art Exhibition at Soho Restaurant, to tick off the six-day creatively packaged event.
 
It is no doubt that the creative industry has made a name for itself and advanced its influence in hospitality and other sectors across the globe.
