RootsTech Connect

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have a unique opportunity next week (Feb 25-27) to participate in a worldwide family history event called RootsTech Connect.  For ten years, thousands of people have gathered in Salt Lake City to learn about family history from experts and to be instructed by Church leaders.  Now this event is being made available for free to people all over the world, with over 1100 classes in 40 languages.  Its objectives are to create opportunities for participants to "learn by doing" and to provide meaningful connections "where the Holy Ghost can testify of the divine nature of the family."

There is something for everyone at RootsTech Connect.  If you are a youth, an adult, an experienced genealogist or a beginner, you will find content designed specifically to help you with your family history efforts.  Young adults and Youth are invited to participate in Our Quest for Connection, which includes ten challenges during the three-day event and a wrap up session with Church leaders.  There will be special instruction for people with family history callings.  You can sign up for Relatives at RootsTech and connect with people all over the world who are related to you.  All sessions have been pre-recorded and will be accessible for a year after the conference.

This is truly a miraculous opportunity, another evidence that the Lord is very aware of us and that He is actively working to help us connect with our families and to offer them the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  In the midst of a global pandemic, we are being offered an incredible resource that will allow us to expand our knowledge and our testimony.

Registration is required, but it is quick and easy.  Go to https://www.rootstech.org to access the registration form and other information about the conference.

We hope you will take advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn more about temple and family history work.

Sincerely,

Paul W. Wilson III, Kenneth G Rasmussen, Chen-Fu Liao
