Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we have experienced the feelings associated with recent tragic events in our state and country, and as we mourn the passing of our beloved Prophet, Russell M. Nelson, our hearts have turned to the Savior Jesus Christ and the healing power that he offers. Jesus said: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." On another occasion of difficulty and uncertainty, He loving taught: "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Christ invites all to come unto Him to see and feel of His goodness. We do this by spending time with those we love and serving our brothers and sisters. We invite you to find a specific way to share His light this week in your daily interactions with others.
We testify that Jesus Christ is the only way to find peace and healing in the world today. We know that He lives! We love you and pray for you. May His peace, which passeth all understanding, be in your hearts this day and always.
