Hey everybody! I'm passing on a message from Mark Paynter from the Elm Creek Ward asking for musical volunteers to play on the fourth. 


Dear Shingle Creek Ward Folks, I was asked this evening to play my trumpet for this Friday's, July 4th Independence Day Flag Raising Event. Although I am willing to do this, I have appreciated, in the past, the opportunity to play in a band with other folks from the Elm Creek Ward and the Shingle Creek Ward. Here is my request:If you would be interested in, available and would like to play "The Star Spangled Banner" with your band instrument for the 9:00 AM Elm Creek Ward/Shingle Creek Ward flag raising ceremony and would be able to attend ONE practice this coming Wednesday night, July 2 at 8:30 PM (right after Activity Night) at the Brooklyn Park chapel - please let Mark Paynter (contact information below) know by 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. We will meet in the Cultural Hall for practice. Everyone should bring their own music stand and instrument. I have band music and will pass it out on Wednesday evening. If you would like the music earlier - to practice or to see if you are able to play the music - please feel free to reach out to me at the phone number or email address below.
